How We Rate Texas Online Casinos

Our ranking is built the same way for every site, against weighted criteria chosen to reflect what protects a Texas player when no state regulator does. Here is exactly how the score is put together.

The weighted criteria

  • Payout record and speed (30%). We test real withdrawals and track how fast and how reliably money leaves. This carries the most weight because at an offshore site it is the whole ballgame.
  • Trust and licensing (25%). Years in operation, the licensing jurisdiction, ownership transparency and the operator's public history of paying players.
  • Bonus value (15%). Judged on clearable value, meaning the match measured against wagering and minimum deposit, never the headline percentage.
  • Game library (15%). Depth and quality across slots, tables, live dealer and video poker, and the studios behind them.
  • Banking and Texas fit (15%). Crypto and card support, deposit minimums and whether the site accepts Texas players without restriction.

Our testing process

We create a funded account, play across categories, and submit at least one withdrawal per site so we are timing a real cashout rather than quoting a marketing claim. We repeat the payout check periodically, because speeds drift. When an operator changes its terms, we update the rating to match.

Independence

Commission is earned only after a site has ranked on merit, and it never moves a site up. We do not accept payment for placement, and we will rank a site poorly, or leave it off, if it fails our payout or trust checks. That independence is the point of the whole exercise.
